Granary Cottage is a beautifully renovated stone built farm property, set in the picturesque countryside at the heart of Northumberland.

The cottage is located within the grounds of the fishery with three of the lakes being just a stone's throw from your back door.

The accommodation comprises of an entrance porch / cloakroom leading into the spacious living room with arched windows and a magnificent Inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove, TV, DVD and HiFi.

The spectacular farmhouse kitchen, with Belfast sink and range-style cooker is fully equipped with integral washing machine, dishwasher, freezer, fridge, tumble dryer, microwave and a number of small appliances solid pine country kitchen table and chairs.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms which can sleep four people, a bathroom with WC, corner bath, wash basin and a separate shower cubicle.

Prices range from £300 to £530 per week depending on the season and the fishing is included!

If you and your family are looking for a break from fishing then there are lots of things to do and places to visit.

Here are just a few:

Hadrian's Wall
A world famous Roman Wall extending from Newcastle to Carlisle, it has many historic roman sites along its path, and sections of the wall are remarkably well preserved.

Farne Islands
A group of small islands about two miles off the coast of Northumberland, home to Lindisfarne, an ancient monastery. They're also famous as bird sanctuaries.

Alnwick Castle
The official home of the Duke of Northumberland. A very famous and well preserved castle that has been used as a location for many films (including Harry Potter).

Cragside Hall
A hall built by Lord Armstrong-a pioneer of the Industrial Revolution. Surrounded by thousands of rhododendron bushes and some of the tallest tree's in Britain, it is a delight for the naturalist and for those interested in historic homes.
